Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2010

I got some great news a few days ago. Two cookbooks i worked on this year have been nominated for the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2010 Here is the offical press release from Gill & Macmillan. the publishers. Well done ladies,Wahoo!

Multiple wins for Irish Chefs at The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards

Catherine Fulvio’s first cookbook has won awards for Best Italian Cuisine Cookbook and Best Television Celebrity Cookbook at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, while Domini Kemp’s Itsa Cookbook won the Best Corporate Cookbook Award.

They now go on to represent Ireland when the judges deliberate at the best in the world stage of the competition.

Results will be announced at a glamorous awards event on March 3, 2011 on the first day of the Paris Cookbook Fair.

The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards were founded in 1995 by Edouard Cointreau. Every year, they honour the best food and wine books. The objective of the award is to help readers find the best out of the 26,000 food and wine books produced every year. This year 154 countries participated in the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

Catherine’s Italian Kitchen and Itsa Cookbook are published by Gill & Macmillan.

Both books are priced at €19.99 and are available in bookshops nationwide.
