Fab Ladies!

One of the best things about my job is the fact i get to meet such a variety of people. Last month for The Gloss Magazine i shoot three very different but equally inspiring ladies.

Nikki Evans won the Woman Mean Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2010. She devised and launched PerfectCard – a gift debit card, in 2007. She now employs 60 people at peak season and recorded a turnover of €18m last year, and she has 2 children under 3! Now that's impressive!

The amazing Spiderman!

Its all about the superhero's at them moment. A year ago Oscar was terrified of this spiderman suit, now he practically lives in it! :)

The Ultimate comfort food.

War has broken out with my three year old over vegetables. So today i was looking for soups in which to cunningly hide them when i came across these great recipies from Garden Heaven magazine. I shot these with the lovely Brian O'Donnell, head chef at award winning hotel and restaurant, Danny Minnies in Annagry, Co Donegal in 2005. Click on the images to enlarge the photo.


I often make smaller amounts of this soup with just a chicken thigh on the bone and reduce the amount of liquid and soup mix.


This soup is like a meal in itself.

Spring at last.

After such a gorgeous spring day today, it got me thinking about all things outdoorsy!Such good intentions last year...still my cherry tomatoes were pretty outstanding! This time i'm going to make a plan...

Almafi Coast wedding

On such a dreary January night it warms my toes to look back a lovely wedding I photographed in Ravello last Summer. I've never been anywhere with so many steps! Though it did come in handy to work off all the pasta and Ice cream i ate while i was there!
